Otto Weininger (1880–1903) was an Austrian philosopher known for his controversial work “Sex and Character” (1903), where he explored the relationship between gender and personality. Weininger posited that men and women embody opposing qualities, associating genius and morality with masculinity. His ideas, though influential, were met with criticism. Tragically, he took his own life shortly after publishing his work at the age of 23, leaving a lasting but contentious legacy in the realm of early 20th-century philosophy.
